US: Lesbian couple found murdered ‘next to dumpster’ in Texas
Police are hunting for a murder suspect after a lesbian couple were found murdered and left next to a dumpster in Port Bolivar, Texas.
According to KHOU, the murdered couple, Britney Cosby and Crystal Jackson, both 24, had been missing since Wednesday, and had travelled to the area for Mardi Gras.
Their bodies were found next to a dumpster outside a convenience store by a delivery driver on Friday morning.
Police say that women were killed in different ways, and that it is possible they may have been killed elsewhere and moved to the dumpster.
Lequetia Jackson, the sister of Crystal Jackson, said between sobs: “What did they do to you to kill my sister? You beat her up to the point she can’t breathe no more.”
Jackson’s father said she worked as a security guard, and that Cosby was as a barista at Starbucks
Police are still looking for the couple’s new car, a silver 2006 Kia Sorento SUV, which may have been stolen in the incident.
They have also released a sketch of a possible suspect, and are urging anyone with information about the killings to come forward.
