UK: Big Brother topless model claims same-sex marriage is ‘just not right’
A Big Brother contestant, who works as a topless model, says she opposes same-sex marriage because of her strict Catholic beliefs.
Danielle McMahon, who entered the Big Brother house today, works as an underwear model and had featured topless in Nuts magazine.
She told the Daily Star: “In terms of opinions, I’m very straight and narrow.
“I’ve got very black and white opinions on women today and same-sex marriage. I’m Catholic, it’s a very big part of my day to day life.”
“I’ve got nothing against homosexuals, I just personally don’t believe in same-sex marriage.
“It’s just not right in our faith, it doesn’t really affect me because a same-sex marriage wouldn’t happen in a Catholic church.
“I’m sticking to it and not moving and I want you to agree with me. If it causes an argument, then so be it. I’m not ever on the fence.
“I went to a very religious school, my dad has Irish roots, it’s always been there. I’ve learned to live with it. Follow your life through the faith.”
