Neil Patrick Harris and husband star in first joint ad campaign
Newlyweds Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka will star in one of the first major ad campaigns featuring a married same-sex couple.
The former How I Met Your Mother star signed a deal alongside his husband to become the faces of coat retailer London Fog, for their upcoming seasonal campaign.
The move will see high-profile ads featuring the couple across a range of fashion and lifestyle magazines next month, cuddling and holding hands.
Neil Patrick Harris said: “London Fog is our first fashion campaign together. We’ve done photo shoots before, but have never represented a brand.”
Actor David Burtka added: “London Fog is a brand rich in heritage, and most famously known for its iconic trench coat and it’s nice to be a part of that history now.
“It’s not bad to wear clothes and get to hang out with him at work.”
The pair have been together for several years, but married in September. Harris said previously that the wedding was for the benefit of their twins, Gideon and Harper.
The family are renowned for their annual Halloween photographs – and did not disappoint with this year’s Batman-themed effort.
