Bianca Del Rio’s drag comedy film is coming, and it sounds terrifying
If you are suffering from ‘Drag Race’ withdrawals, your prayers are about to be answered – Bianca Del Rio’s film is coming.
The season six winner of the drag reailty show has spent the last few weeks filming ‘Hurricane Bianca’ in Texas, with production finally wrapping at the weekend.
The film sees Del Rio playing a male teacher in a small-town Texas high school, who is fired for being gay. He returns to teach at the school in “clown realness” drag – and exacts his hilarious revenge in the process.
“I really can’t tell you how my character gets his revenge, but give me forty bucks and I’ll get you a scratched DVD with behind-the-scenes footage, which is just me getting into drag,” says Del Rio.
Hurricane Bianca also stars fellow ‘Drag Race’ veterans Willam Belli, Joslyn Fox, and Shangela.
The queens have been sharing behind the scenes photos from the film on their Instagram accounts.

Del Rio isn’t the only previous winner working on a film project – season five champ Jinkx Monsoon is currently promoting her documentary ‘Drag Becomes Him’.
‘Hurricane Bianca’ is set for release early next year.
