Top Model’s Nyle DiMarco reveals he is sexually ‘fluid’
Nyle DiMarco – who appears on America’s Next Top Model – has come out as sexually fluid.
The model – one of this years most popular contestants – has revealed to his sexuality to his followers during a Twitter Q&A.
When asked by one twitter user “Nyle you have so much gays fans!, tell us, boys or girls?” he simply answered “fluid.”
The 6’2″ model, described as having “washboard abs”, also helpfully added an ‘Everyday Feminism’ article to his post which explained what fluid sexuality means and how it fits into the LGBT spectrum.
The article explains that some people see their sexual identity as beyond labels and do not fit into the traditional categories of straight, bi or gay.
This latest revelation has made many of his gay fans very happy.
“My prayers have been answered!” one Twitter user excitably tweeted.
Despite some people not understanding fluid sexuality or hearing the term for the first time, the reaction has been positive.
“You’re a great role model for so many people,” one follower said.
DiMarco is also ANTM’s first deaf contestant and although some on the show initially thought of his deafness as a possible hindrance, the 26-year-old model has said that it’s actually a benefit.
“Reading body language comes naturally to me. It helps me understand how to pose with my body,” he told ET Online.
He says he can also shut out all the unending fights that take place on the show each week.
“Fortunately, I’m deaf, so I don’t have to hear all of their drama,” says DiMarco.
“I just want to say that you all are complaining about hair, hair, hair. Am I complaining about my deafness? No, I am not.”
