Jodie Foster finally graces Hollywood Walk of Fame
Oscar winner Jodie Foster has finally been given the honour of her own spot on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The star’s very own star will be placed on Hollywood Boulevard on 4 May.
Kristen Stewart will be responsible for presenting Foster with Hollywood’s highest honour (except that Oscar).
“We have been waiting for a long time for Jodie Foster to set a date for her star and are thrilled that the time has come,” Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez tells WENN.
“She is a great role model for women and we are proud to add her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.”
Although she wasn’t out when she won her Oscars for ‘The Accused’ (1988) and ‘Silence of the Lambs’ (1991), Jodie Foster has since become one of the most well-known LGBT personalities in Hollywood.
She married her partner, Alexandra Hedison, in 2014 – after dating for a year.
