Ryan Gosling: ‘I’m 49 percent woman’
Ryan Gosling revealed that he’s almost as much a woman as a man.
When Canadian actor Ryan Gosling was asked what percent woman he was, he said: “I’d say 49%, sometimes 47%, it depends on what day you catch me.”
In the conversation with the London Evening Standard Gosling talked about how he supported women and how he hopes for a female president because “America needs a woman’s touch”.
Gosling gushed in the interview about his two daughters he has with his wife, Eva Mendes.
“I think women are better than men,” he said. “They are stronger. More evolved. You can tell especially when you have daughters and you see their early stages, they are just leaps and bounds beyond boys immediately.”
The actor who grew up in a predominately female household has said he’s always been in touch with his feminine side. Fans have even created a feminist theory book entitled ‘Feminist Ryan Gosling’.
He added: “I’ve always liked women more. I was brought up by my mother and older sister. I found my way into dance class. My home life now is mostly women. They are better than us. They make me better.”
Gosling isn’t the only Canadian who loves females. He joins the Canadian-men-who-support-women ranks alongside Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The PM is popular for his progressive action on LGBT and female rights.
Gosling is currently working with Whiplash director, Damien Chazelle, on new film La-La-Land. He will be co-starring alongside Emma Stone.
Last year, Ryan Gosling was mentioned by Chris Hemsworth in a SNL sketch, when he wanted to know if people still thought he was a hunk.
