Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus singing ‘Jolene’ is EVERYTHING! (VIDEO)
Our favourite country idols teamed up for an amazing duet on the US version of The Voice and it is everything.
Dolly Parton and goddaughter, Miley Cyrus, took to the stage to perform an acappella version of ‘Jolene.’
24-year-old Cyrus, who is pansexual, invited 70-year-old Parton on to team up with the group Pentatonix, a popular group with fans so far in the season.
It’s not the first time the two have taken on the iconic song together either. In 2010 on the 25th anniversary of Dollywood the pair sang Jolene together.
The stunning performance sees the two passionately belt out the lyrics while the singers laid down the acappella background.
Dolly Parton has a appeared on the show a number of times now to sing with contestants and give them a chance of being pushed through to the finals.
Parton and Cyrus are ultimate gay icons and it is always a treat whenever they team up together.
Parton believes that gay people relate to her because she fought for the right to be herself.
She has been a long standing figure for the LGBT community, and this year she teamed up with Kylie Minogue to back a campaign calling for equal marriage in Australia.
The country and western singer laughed off rumours she was a lesbian this summer as she renewed her wedding vows on her 50th anniversary.
