Graham Norton to Piers Morgan: ‘Grow a pair’
TV host Graham Norton has slammed Piers Morgan for attacking Ewan McGregor over refusing to go on Good Morning Britain.
Earlier this week, the Trainspotting actor refused to go on the breakfast show with Piers after he said he was “planning a men’s march to protest at the creeping global emasculation of my gender by rabid feminists”.
He said on Twitter: “Was going on Good Morning Britain, didn’t realise @piersmorgan was host. Won’t go on with him after his comments about #WomensMarch (sic).”
The former Britain’s Got Talent judge then attacked the 45-year-old actor by replying that “a real man would have come on and debated it with me, not run away like a coward”.
Graham has now defended the 45-year-old actor, who will appear as a guest on his show, by telling Piers he had to grow up.
“We didn’t discuss Piers Morgan because there’s nothing to discuss,” he said in an interview with the Radio Times.
“You describe it as a fracas. It’s only a fracas in Piers Morgan’s mind.
“It is funny that he talks about millennial snowflakes and yet a man didn’t agree to come on his show and he’s been tweeting about it non-stop for 48 hours.
“Really, grow a pair.”
Women’s marches have been taking place around the world following the inauguration of Donald Trump.
In Washington, it’s believed more people attended a march the day following President Trump’s investiture.
Last year, Graham revealed that his new novel will be “page after page of bum sex.”
Earlier this week a former News of the World intern claimed that Piers paid him to spy on a gay youth group.
