JK Rowling and Chelsea Clinton are mocking Trump for his made up Sweden attack
JK Rowling and Chelsea Clinton have gone after Trump on twitter after he spoke about an attack in Sweden that he made up.
The former Swedish Prime minister Carl Bildt also joined the famous novelist, who is well versed in mocking people on twitter, and the former first daughter in mocking the president.
At a rally yesterday evening in Florida Trump spoke about protecting US borders and acknowledged an attack that had supposedly happened in Sweden the previous night.
“You look at what’s happening in Germany, you look at what’s happening last night in Sweden,” he said.
“Sweden. Who would believe this? Sweden. They took in large numbers. They’re having problems like they never thought possible.
“You look at what’s happening in Brussels. You look at what’s happening all over the world. Take a look at Nice. Take a look at Paris,” he went on in his promises to keep America “safe”.
Former PM Bildt wrote on Twitter in response to the speech: “Sweden? Terror attack? What has he been smoking? Questions abound.”
Chelsea Clinton mocked Trump by referring to Kellyanne Conway’s made up shooting that allegedly happened in Kentucky.
“What happened in Sweden Friday night? Did they catch the Bowling Green Massacre perpetrators?” Clinton quipped.
JK Rowling tweeted #MakeBiscuitDryAgain after someone said the biggest incident to happen in Sweden on Friday was that a horse was rescued from a well.
It wasn’t just famous faces that chipped in on the mockery, with many blaming IKEA for the attack: “There was a car parking dispute at IKEA in #Canberra, is that the #swedishincident President Trump referred to?” one twitter user joked.
