NBC has officially announced the long-rumoured comeback of gay sitcom Will and Grace.
Talks have been rumoured for several months, after the show was revived for a one-off election skit, but a video from NBC confirmed the news.
The network said: “Will. Grace. Karen. Jack. TV’s favourite foursome is coming back to NBC!”
Debra Messing tweeted: “IT’S OFFICIAL !!! THE GANG IS GETTING BACK TOGETHER on @NBC!”
The NBC sitcom ran for eight seasons from 1998 until 2006 – and the show has often been hailed as the watershed moment in LGB visibility in the media.
The reunion has been rumoured for months, with indiscreet guest star Leslie Jordan blabbing about the news last month ahead of the reveal.
