SNL did a hilarious lesbian take on the programme Fire Island
Fire Island, a reality TV show about six gay men living in a summer beach house, has had the full blown lesbian treatment by SNL.
The comedy show poked fun at the programme on last night’s episode with its recreation, Cherry Grove.
Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon, Cecily Strong, Sasheer Zamata and Scarlett Johansson appeared as the “group of affluent lesbians” living just one beach away from the rowdy boys of the Logo show.
“If you think Fire Island is non-stop sex, wait till you see what passes for a bang-fest in Cherry Grove,” the trailer teases.
The hilarious clip sees the men party away in nightclubs and enjoying sunshine, while the lesbians at cherry grove liven up the party with glasses of wine and emotional a capella.
The men get into intense relationship drama, while the women argue over using screens around their children.
Viewers were even treated to an emotional kiss between McKinnon and Johansson.
SNL has done a number of hilarious outtakes in the past, most recently with Alec Baldwin taking on his Donald Trump character in an alien invasion.
The stereotypes are hilarious, but kind of accurate too. Watch the amazing outtake here:
