Queen Elizabeth reportedly loves Netflix Royal drama The Crown
It’s not often we get an insight into the Queen’s private life.
She is the most famous person on the planet, yet we know next to nothing about her habits behind closed doors.
Now a leak has revealed that Queen Elizabeth has a favourite TV show – and it’s about her.
According to the Sunday Express, The Queen was encouraged to watch the series by her son and daughter-in-law, the Earl and Countess of Wessex.
The couple apparently got into the saga after purchasing a Netflix subscription.
According to reports, which are widely understood to be true, the royal couple travel to Windsor at weekends to have an informal supper with the Queen and watch some television.

It was on one of those visits that they introduced Her majesty to the regal show.
The Queen reportedly resisted bingeing the entire series in one go, however.
Instead opting for weekly viewings of the 10-part season during her regular Saturday night ‘TV time’ sessions with her relatives at Windsor Castle.
A royal source told the paper: “Edward and Sophie love The Crown.
“It has been a longstanding arrangement that they drive to Windsor at the weekend to join the Queen for an informal supper while watching TV or a film.
“They have a Netflix account and urged her to watch it with them.
“Happily, she really liked it, although obviously there were some depictions of events that she found too heavily dramatised.”

She might not want to watch the new season of The Crown, however, as it centres around her husband Prince Philip having an affair.
He apparently had the affair in the 1950s, and the producer of the show was surprised to discover many Brits have never heard the rumour.
