Ruth Davidson mocks Theresa May as she runs through a field of wheat
Ruth Davidson has mocked Theresa May’s claims about running through a field of wheat.
The Scottish Conservative leader posted a picture of herself running through a wheat field with the caption “naughty”.
Davidson posted the tweet during a visit to Edinburgh’s Gorgie City Farm in her constituency.
During the 2017 General Election campaign Prime Minister Theresa May was asked what the naughtiest thing she had ever done was.
The PM replied: “Oh, goodness me.
“Well, I suppose… gosh. Do you know, I’m not quite sure. I can’t think what the naughtiest thing…
“Well, nobody is ever perfectly behaved, are they?
“I mean, you know, there are times when… I have to confess, when me and my friend, sort of, used to run through the fields of wheat, the farmers weren’t too pleased about that.”
Ms Davidson who announced her engagement to Jen Wilson on Twitter last May, poked fun at her Westminster colleague.

Asked what the naughtiest thing she had ever done, the Scottish Tory replied: “My mother would not like to see it in print.
“Let’s just say, I did inhale.”
She also challenged the Democratic Unionist Party over its opposition to same-sex marriage.
She wrote in the Times: “Northern Ireland is the only part of the UK where equal marriage is still prohibited. I’ve campaigned passionately for this to change.
“I’ve raised the issues with Arlene Foster, leader of the DUP, and have sought and received assurances from the prime minister that the Conservative Party will use our influence to press for marriage equality.”
“I am a practising Christian,” she added. “I am a protestant. I am a unionist. I am Scottish and British. I am also engaged to a Catholic Irishwoman from County Wexford, who was educated by nuns.”
Ms Davidson’s plans to marry her partner were delayed this year after she was hit with a £10,000 vet bill when her dog was hit by a car.
