Dodie Clark delights fans with incredible on-stage celebration of her bisexuality
Bisexual singer-songwriter Dodie Clark has worn a Pride flag and sung in front of a bisexual flag-coloured background during her tour.
The 22-year-old made her name on YouTube, where she has attracted 1.2 million subscribers.
That was where the British singer-songwriter released an adorable video of a bisexual coming out song in June, in honour of Pride Month.
And she’s now taking her out-and-proud approach to her sexuality on tour, delighting LGBT fans by proudly showing her true colours on stage.
Over the weekend, at the Northumbria Students’ Union in Newcastle, the singing sensation accepted a rainbow flag from the audience.
And because that wasn’t enough to show her pride, he draped it around herself and sung with it round her shoulders.
Dodie also lit up the venue in pink, blue and purple – the bisexual flag’s colours – to celebrate her sexuality.
Really enjoyed the lighting tonight. Created some fun dynamics for me to play with. pic.twitter.com/z5sFhOgW1U

She also entertained fans by calling on them to join her in celebrating their bisexual selves.
And it’s hard not to smile at how much the idea delighted her.
honestly my onstage banter is just getting worse tonight I literally went “ALL DA BI GIRLS SAY WOOP” but only after I giggled at the idea

Dodie has a history of revelling in her bi pride.
Her track, “I’m bisexual – a coming out song!”, informed all 1.6 million of the people who watched it: “I’m bi, and I’m proud to be me.”
She continued: “I am part of something really beautiful.
“Cause love is love is love.”
Her fans at the concerts were overjoyed – ecstatic, even.
Understandably, they could barely control their excitement.
And, I mean – can you blame them.
Same, to be honest.
I mean, just look at the flag she wore.
It’s just so gloriously full of love.
And she, in turn, is wonderfully, happily bi.
