Dustin Lance Black gives best response to Tom Daley receiving honorary degree
Tom Daley has been awarded a very special honour.
The diving supremo has been given an honorary masters in sport from The Plymouth Marjon University.
The Olympic diver revealed the exciting news online, writing: “GRADUATION DAY!”
The university wrote on Twitter: “We are delighted to award honorary degrees to @TomDaley1994 and @giselleansley for their inspirational sporting performances”.
And hubby Dustin Lance Black was more than impressed by the appointment.
He wrote online: “Proud of you @TomDaley1994. Now you’re more educated than me. #SmartyPants”
Tom cheekily replied saying “teach you”.
The pair returned from their round-the-world honeymoon over summer after tying the knot in a private ceremony.
Daley and Lance Black tied the knot in a stunning wedding ceremony earlier this year.
The couple holidayed in locations across Europe and America for their travels.
They were photographed unwinding in Barcelona, Spain, before moving on to New York City.
The pair even hung out with former US president Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at a film premier, before unwinding in Hawaii.
Daley has been in his trans-Atlantic relationship since 2013, when the couple first met and announced their engagement in 2015 by revealing it in The Times newspaper.
