P!nk reveals her celebrity crush to James Corden in maybe the best Carpool Karaoke yet

P!nk has brought her regal presence to James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke.
But unlike every other singer who’s appeared on the segment, she belted out her hits upside-down.
Earlier this year at the MTV VMAs, the star made an impassioned defence of people who, like her daughter, dress in gender non-conforming ways.

And last month, she addressed her sexuality, calling on people to “leave it alone.
“I just wanna live my life. I don’t need you to put me in a box or to figure me out or to figure out what I am.
“Cos I don’t know yet. And I never say never.”

The singer, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, has spoken frequently about how fans mistakenly believe she is a lesbian, despite having children with husband Carey Hart.
On Carpool Karaoke, she and Corden combined with songs like Raise Your Glass and Beautiful Trauma before the star revealed that she sings better when turned the other way up.
So naturally, the two found a local outdoor gym to test out the theory.

Corden, terrified and disbelieving, told P!nk there was “no way you can sing better” upside-down.
So she showed him why her latest album Beautiful Trauma has gone number one in the UK and US, giving a stunning performance of Just Like A Pill.
After admitting “I can’t feel my face,” Corden told her: “You sounded incredible, but you’re P!nk.”
She harmonised to What About Us with Corden, before teaching the British host some choreography to go along with their beautiful singing.

P!nk also revealed that when she was seven or eight years old, she found out Jon Bon Jovi was married – and it crushed her.
“I almost threw up in my mouth. I ripped his posters off the wall, threw them out, and didn’t come out of my room for days,” she said.
“I was devastated. It was the first time someone ever broke my heart.”

And the singer said that she was the opening act for NSYNC when the boyband which launched Justin Timberlake’s career was on tour.
“First tour ever! Opening from NSYNC,” said the singer.
“I was 19 and they were really sweet, and Joey Fatone used to come into my dressing room every day and visit with us.

“He was such a sweetheart.”
She said that the boyband star had even asked her dad if he could take her on a date.
