You might have already heard that cult TV programme Queer Eye for the Straight Guy will be returning to our screens after an eleven-year hiatus.
The series, which won the hearts of gay, bi and straight people alike, will be relaunching in February 2018 Netflix.
For the newbies in town, the TV show caused a storm between 2004-7 which sees five gay men makeover the lives of one struggling straight man will be back on our screens in a matter of weeks.
In the programme, the struggling man will see their home decor, personal style, cooking and cultural tastes go under scrutiny in order to improve their lives.
However, it’s worth noting that none of the original cast remain in the eight-episode series.
Interior designer Bobby Berk will take a league in the home decor stakes.
MTV The Real World: Philadelphia’s Karamo Brown, who was the first gay black man included in a reality TV show, will help their struggling subject with their cultural kudos.
And to make things go full circle, Antoni Porowski, who was the head chef of original cast member Ted Allen will cover the culinary education of the participant.
Hairstylist Jonathan Van Ness will be sorting out the matted locks of the star-to-be, while Tan France will sort out the wardrobe of the struggling man.
Original show member Carson Kressley believes that the US needs the reboot now more than ever.
“It’ll be a different kind of fabulous, but I think we need it now more than ever,” the designer told TMZ in January.
“Let’s make America gay again!”
