Piers Morgan says he would return to Britain’s Got Talent to replace David Walliams

Piers Morgan has said he would return as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) if he is appointed to replace David Walliams.
The personality made the comments in a new interview with OK! Magazine, saying he would reprise his spot as a judge if he was also paid enough by showrunner Simon Cowell.
Morgan left the show in 2011.
Speaking to OK!, he said: “I’d be the new head judge if the money was right. If Simon made me an offer I couldn’t refuse I would, and frankly looking at the performance of David Walliams, that question should come sooner rather than later!”

The Good Morning Britain presenter went on to say that Cowell “Couldn’t afford me”.
He added: “When I was a judge the ratings were 20 million, and they’re half that now.
“I’m doing the maths and it doesn’t look good for Simon!”
Walliams and Morgan have feuded for years, and have both taken swings at each other publically on a number of occasions.

And despite the criticisms by Morgan, Walliams has been praised for his role on the show as a judge.
He won a National Television Award (NTA) for his position.
Walliams in 2017 refused to appear in an interview with Morgan for the series of ‘Life Storie’s, instead going for an interview with John Bishop’s ‘A Conversation With’.
Responding to the snub, Morgan said Walliams “must prefer the smaller audience”, referring to the show which features on Channel W.
Walliams inevitably hit back, saying that Morgan was one of the most “unloved” elements of British entertainment.
“He comes between farts and rats – which I think is unfair on rats,” he scathed.
“My guess is that Piers Morgan will still be unloved for generations to come.”
Then, hitting back, Morgan said the BGT judge was “boring and vain”.
Britain’s Got Talent host David Williams last year faced a backlash from viewers who said they had grown tired of his “faux gay” routine.
But he later said he had “gay experiences” earlier in life when asked about it.
A group of angry mothers launched an attack against supermarket giant ALDI because the store stocked a “transgender” book by Walliams.
BBC comic Nish Kumar last month responded to Piers Morgan’s allegations of homophobia.
Piers Morgan, a personal friend of Donald Trump, was widely mocked earlier this year over an interview with the leader in which he repeatedly lavished praise on Trump while failing to significantly challenge any of the administration’s policies.

Morgan also called Britons “utter halfwits” for scaring off US President Donald Trump from attending a state visit.
He also spent 2017 attacking non-binary people, trans people and JK Rowling on a number of fronts, using his GMB platform to hit out at the LGBT community in general.
Morgan also somehow used the snow to attack trans people in a segment on GMB in December.
