Remember that time Donald Trump motorboated Rudy Giuliani dressed in full drag?
President Donald Trump’s new lawyer Rudy Giuliani was once motorboated by the billionaire while dressed in drag.
The former Mayor of New York City recently joined the Trump legal team, and immediately made the news when he appeared to confirm in a TV interview that Trump had “funnelled” money through lawyer Michael Cohen to buy the silence of porn star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
Giuliani’s recruitment by Team Trump comes after years as a staunch ally of the reality star-turned-politician.
But a clip from 2000 has resurfaced on social media, to remind everyone that Giuliani’s relationship with Trump was once a lot weirder.
The surreal comedy skit sees the then-New York Mayor in full drag.
He is approached by Trump, who, at the time was in between wives number two and three, and the pair flirt on-camera.
Trump tells the drag mayor: “You know, you’re really beautiful. A woman that looks like that has to have her own special scent.”
As Giuliani sprays perfume, Trump cops a feel and motorboats Giuliani’s breasts.
The mayor exclaims: “Ooh, you dirty boy! Donald, I thought you were a gentleman!”
Trump laments: “You can’t say I didn’t try.”
The moment comes 18 years before Giuliani’s accidental torpedoing of the president’s legal defence over the alleged Stormy Daniels cover-up.
Experts say that if Trump did “funnel” money to pay off Daniels ahead of the 2016 election, he likely violated campaign finance rules.
The Trump administration has repeatedly denied that Trump was aware of the payment, and has gone into full-scale spin mode in the wake of the Giuliani revelation.
Former White House staffer Anthony Scaramucci raised eyebrows on CNN last week with a claim that Trump’s payoff to Stormy Daniels doesn’t matter because of same-sex marriage.
He said: “In 2008 Barack Obama said he was for non-same sex marriages… we have a cultural movement now to where we accept marriage equality, and I’ve been for that for 15 years.
“We should have a cultural movement again where public officials should be left alone to do in their personal lives what they do.
“What happens is they get tangled up and start to position themselves in a certain way… President Clinton did that, President Trump has had to do that, and I think it’s unfair to both of those people and I think we should knock it off.”
CNN’s Chris Cuomo responded: “The Obama example about marriage equality, that has nothing to do with paying off a porn star.”
Scaramucci insisted: “It actually does. We are in a cultural situation today where I don’t care what people are doing in their bedroom, public officials or non-public officials.
“We should move the curve in that direction, and we should focus on the things the President is doing for the country, not his personal life.”
“We should just relax on some of these stories and let him execute his strategy.”
