London Queer Fashion Show summed up in 12 amazing photos
More than 100 models of all sizes, sexualities, genders, and abilities, walked down the runway at the London Queer Fashion Show, a showcase of LGBT+ talent held on Friday night in east London.
The event, held at the V&A Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green, exhibited costumes created by more than ten queer designers.
Described on the show’s website as “London’s most queer fashion event,” the evening featured designs worn by UK Black Pride’s co-founder Lady Phyll, non-binary model Rain Dove, drag king Adam All, and DJ Jay Jay Revlon.
Other people to walk down the runaway included Tete Bang, Asttina Mandella, Prince Jay Jay, Shay Shay, Tobi Adebayo, Santi Storm, Yvonne Taylor, Kenny Ethan Jones, Marnie Scarlett, Rude Boy Roy, and Joseph Barnes.
On Facebook, the show was billed as an event that welcomed: “All races // All ages // All sexualities // All genders // All abilities // All religions // All pronouns // All shapes // All sizes // All expressions.”
The inclusive fashion show was hosted by actor and singer Jamie Campbell.
The event was held a couple of days after the end of London Fashion Week, which ran from September 14 to September 18.
“The shows main event is the run way, showcasing a huge variety of young queer designers, being complimented by a DJ and lovingly welcomed by the audience,” a description of the show on the event website read.
