RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 4: who are the judges?
RuPaul’s Drag Race has had its share of questionable judges—never forget Merle, try to forget the kid from 13 Reasons Why—but the panel for All Stars 4 is oh so right.
Those razor sharp incarnations of flamboyance Ross Matthews and Carson Kressley will be lighting up our screens as regular judges alongside RuPaul and Michelle Visage.

This also may be the season RuPaul stops giving a tuck.
On their podcast this summer, RuPaul and Michelle Visage cackled over the memory of him consuming 16(!) shots of espresso and going “friggin’ crazy” at the cast who were “shitting their pants.”
But luckily Michelle Visage will be there to comfort the contestants, “I’ve known Ru for 30 years. I just sat there and let her have her fun, screaming at the top of her lungs.”

If RuPaul’s meltdown is similar to her tirade 10 years ago at Tammy Brown it will make extraordinary television.
Was it another poor snatch game that pushes her over the edge? An unfair elimination? Another robbed win?

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 4: guest judges
With all that going on it’s hard to care too much about which guest judges will strut their stuff down the runway and then, for the most part, remain mute.
But hopefully we’ll find another gem like Titus Burgess—who can make a skit out of the few seconds of screen time allotted—in the typically random line-up for RuPauls Drag Race All Stars 4.
The lineup includes: Zoë Kravitz (Fantastic Beasts), Cecily Strong (SNL), Kacey Musgraves (country singer, ex-bully of gay kids), Jenifer Lewis (Black-ish, Sister Act), Jason Wu (designer—Michelle Obama is a client), Yvette Nicole Brown (Community treasure), Felicity Huffman (Desperate Housewives, Transamerica), Erica Ash (literally not a clue), Susanne Bartsch (queen of New York nightlife), Frances Bean Cobain (daughter of Kurt and Courtney Love), Ciara (R&B star), Gus Kenworthy (Olympic medal-winning trade), Ellen Pompeo (Grey’s Anatomy) and Keinyan Lonsdale (a tree from Love, Simon).
RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 4: the contestants
Halleloo! We finally get an All Stars cast that is properly diverse in gender, race and size, as well as being the one of the most talented bunch of queens we’ve seen compete.
It could well snatch the crown from All Stars 2 as the best season in herstory.
Meet the queens below.
Valentina

She’s gorgeous, she’s beautiful, she was the runaway fan favourite of Drag Race Season 9. But Valentina will need to prove deadly in the lip-syncs to earn that Ru-demption and not crash out at 7th place again.

All Star shade: “Am I the villain of the season? Me? Villaintina?”
Jasmine Masters

Jasmine Masters came 12th on Season 7 of Drag Race. The optimistic viral sensation has everything to prove if she wants to earn that Ru-demption.
Old star slogan: “No tea, no shade, no pink lemonade.”
All Star shade: “We get a lot of jush in there. There’s a lot of jush going on, so you’re going to get your jush!”
Naomi Smalls
Naomi Smalls is back for All Stars 4. (Logo)
The queen of legs named after Naomi Campbell and Biggie Smalls, Naomi Smalls, bloomed late on Season 8 of Drag Race but her high-fashion lewks eventually earned her a runner-up position. To Ru-deem herself she needs to start out strong as she can finish.
Old star slogan: “Check your lipstick before you come for me.”
All Star shade: “Everyone in the cast — besides Farrah Moan — is pretty realistic about life [but] everyone’s more of a diva their second time around. … There are definitely some big egos, and I think I’m one of them.”
Latrice Royale
Latrice Royal is back on All Stars for a second time. (VH1)
The large and in-charge, chunky yet funky queen placed 4th on Season 4 of Drag Race and tied 8th on All Stars 1. One of the most loved queens in herstory, she’s a proven assassin at lip-syncs, comedy and acting challenges. Her Ru-demption could come by wowing the judges with her runway and make up, which have dragged her down in the past.
Old star slogan: “Jesus is a biscuit! Let him sop you up!”
All Star shade: “I ain’t with this new fandango, kumbaya bullsh*t. Don’t tell me one thing in my face and say something else behind my back. We have a lot of that on All Stars 4 and that warrants my response, because when you have an opportunity to say what you mean but don’t because you’re scared or you punk out, I’m gonna come for you for that.”
Monet X Change

She’s the lip-sync and Snatch Game icon who placed 5th on Season 10 of Drag Race. All she needs to Ru-deem herself are is the pussycat wigs and pull out a few high-fashion lewks to sponge away the competition.

Gia Gunn

Gi-gi-gi-Gia has fashion, fish and flawless make-up on her side. But she’ll need it all to Ru-deem herself after crashing out in 10th place without winning a challenge on Season 6.
Old star slogan: “Absoluteeeely.”
All Star shade: “I’m more comfortable with my body and the way that I look. If I hadn’t gone through my transition, I don’t think I would have been ready to come back.”
Trinity the Tuck

The surprisingly versatile pageant queen finished 3rd on Season 10 of Drag Race after winning three challenges. Her ruthless competitive spirit was both an advantage and disadvantage as it stopped the audience falling hard for her. Her Ru-demption could come if we are allowed to see a more relaxed, happier, helpful side to the Tuck. But that might be pushing it a bit.
Old star slogan: “I have 50 units of botox in my face, I don’t know what y’all want from me.”
All Star shade: “They’re all going to hell. There’s no saving those b*tches.”
Monique Heart
Monique Heart returns to All Stars 4. (VH1)
The heart, soul and ooh-ah-ah sensation placed a scandalous 8th on Season 10 of Drag Race. She has all the ingredients that make a winner and slays any sewing challenge. Hopefully she’s saved coin for All Stars and prepared enough to earn her Ru-demption at Snatch Game. And please, please, learn those words.
Old star slogan: “Facts are facts, America.”
All Star shade: “When it comes to these eliminations, I was gooped!”
Farrah Moan

The fish of Drag Race Season 9 came 8th without winning a challenge. To Ru-deem herself and stand a chance of winning she needs to take risks and stand out, not play it safe.
Old star slogan: *Moans*
All Star shade: “I definitely came for blood this season.” And on Valentina, “There’s too much love for herself there.”
Manila Luzon
Manila Luzon is back on All Stars 4. (World of Wonder)
This all rounder narrowly lost Season 3 of Drag Race to Raja, and came joint 8th with Latrice Royale on All Stars 1. She’s a loveable lip-sync slayer with lewks to kill. She’s dragged on scripted humour before, so if she can nail that this time round her Ru-demption is secure.
Old star slogan: “The thing I have, that you haven’t seen on your show is that I’m Asian – and I am taller than 5’2!”
All Star shade: “It’s nice to come back and show what I’m capable of after I’ve had the opportunity to become a drag superstar.”
RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 4: where can I watch it?
RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 4 premieres on December 14 on VH1 at 8pm in the US and airs straight after in the UK on Comedy Central at 1.30am.
Each episode will last 90 minutes and will be available on a versatile range of streaming services.
Unlike the original Drag Race, All Stars will not be on Netflix.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Christmas special
Shangela will be ready to slay the other belles and snatch the crown in RuPauls Drag Race: Holi-slay Spectacular VH1.
If you can’t wait until Drag Race All Stars 4, RuPaul is searching for her first Christmas Queen in RuPaul’s Drag Race Holi-Slay Spectacular.
This one hour, one-off special will air on December 7 at 8pm on VH1.
Michelle, Ross and Todrick Hall are set to judge Jasmine, Latrice, Eureka O’Hara, Kim Chi, Mayhem Miller, Shangela, Sonique and Trixie Mattel.
Yep, it’s Trixie vs. Shangela again. We can’t wait to see how this turns out.
