Amazing Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield and Chewing Gum creator Michaela Coel will appear as guest judges on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, it has been revealed.
The pair were announced as guest judges ahead of the launch of the British drag reality spin-off, which is set to make its debut on BBC Three in September.
Angels in America star and “Drag Race uber fan” Andrew Garfield is already jazzed for his appearance.

He said: “The creativity is always totally outside the box and it’s one of the many reasons I watch and love this show – when someone does something I wouldn’t have thought of myself.”
Garfield has previously showcased his own lip sync skills alongside Drag Race queens on the 2017 Werq The World Tour, channelling Whitney Houston for a guest performance.

Explaining her love of drag, Black Earth Rising star Michaela Coel added: “I love that you have to dare, you have to dare and you have to drop all of your societal norms and restraints that you’ve been taught and you have to dare to embody something higher.”
Other confirmed guest judges include Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams, Geri Horner of the Spice Girls and Jade Thirlwall of Little Mix, while Graham Norton and Alan Carr will serve as judging panel regulars across the eight-part series.
The series will “will showcase the most fabulous drag queens that the UK has to offer” as part of the search for the UK’s First Drag Superstar, a release explained.
Drag Race UK cast is still a secret
The show is yet to announce which of the UK’s many popular drag queens will be competing.
It doesn’t sound like any on-set leaks are forthcoming, with Alan Carr revealing the steps taken to keep the show a surprise for fans.
Speaking to Digital Spy in May, he explained: “It was like, no phones, the most securitied thing ever.
“It was like Fort Knox. It was amazing to be part of something like that and no one is going to be disappointed.
“I’m going to get in to trouble even for saying that. It’s really good, that’s all I can say.”
Norton said being part of the show made him “ridiculously happy.”
“I can’t wait to see what the UK drag queens bring to the party, but they better weeeeerk,” he added.
