The jaunt will kick off on June 30 and will be be a “diamond Diana music celebration” of a career that has spanned almost six decades.
During the tour, Ross will visit Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham, before a final performance at London’s O2 Arena.
Ross hasn’t performed in the UK since 2008, when she reportedly ended a gig at Petworth Park, Sussex 50 minutes in, having taken exception to audience members filming on their phones.
The incident hasn’t deterred fans, who were quick to proclaim their excitement on Twitter.

As a Supreme, she notched up 12 US number ones, including ‘Baby Love’, ‘Stop! In The Name Of Love’ and ‘You Keep Me Hanging’ On’.
After leaving the group in 1970, Ross transformed herself into a disco diva with hits such as ‘Upside Down’ and the seminal gay anthem, ‘I’m Coming Out’.
Throughout her career Ross has embraced the LGBT+ community, and in 2018 she was photographed partying the night away at a gay bar in West Hollywood, joining in with crowds as the DJ played her single ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’.
