Everyone’s making the same joke about Lorraine Kelly’s Snatch Game appearance
The Drag Race UK queens weren’t the only ones flexing their acting muscles during this week’s Snatch Game episode, as actor Lorraine Kelly made an appearance on the show.
In 2019, Kelly won a £1.2m tax battle by arguing that she is a “theatrical artist” who performs “a persona of herself” while on TV.
A judge ruled that when on her ITV breakfast show, Kelly “is an entertaining lady – but the point is that for the time Ms Kelly is contracted to perform live on air she is public ‘Lorraine Kelly’.”
So when Kelly appeared on Drag Race UK‘s Snatch Game in full ‘Lorraine Kelly’ mode, fans couldn’t help but pop a few jokes at her expense.
Lorraine Kelly should win Snatch Game for her amazing impersonation of Lorraine Kelly (TV personality)! #DragRaceUK

Donald Trump and Margaret Thatcher won Snatch Game.
Kelly joined reporter and Strictly winner Stacey Dooley to play the legendary Snatch Game, which saw the Drag Race UK queens transform themselves into celebrities.
The Vivienne and Baga Chipz were named joint winners for their turns as Donald Trump and Margaret Thatcher respectively, with Blu Hydrangea also commended for her foul-mouthed Mary Berry.
Crystal gave an uneven performance as Golden Girls actor Rue McClanahan, while Sum Ting Wong lived up to her name with a flat impersonation of David Attenborough.
After a lip-sync to the Spice Girls’ ‘Spice Up Your Life’ in front of Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell, Sum Ting Wong was asked to sashay away.
Lorraine Kelly is an LGBT+ ally.
Earlier this year, Kelly proved herself a true LGBT+ ally when she criticised GMTV presenter turned Tory MP Esther McVey for her views on LGBT-inclusive education.
Kelly (the TV personality) snubbed McVey live on air and later explained that she “strongly disagreed with her on LGBT+ rights”.
“I got sick to the back teeth of the whole toxic, political atmosphere,” she said on Good Morning Britain.
“I just felt like I’ve had enough of this, we’ve had two-and-a-half years of going round in circles over Brexit and now we’ve got people at each other’s throats and its got to stop.”
