The battle lines are being drawn for Drag Race UK vs Drag Race US and we’re already gagging

Drag Race royalty Jinx Monsoon and Divina De Campo have said “they’re in” for a UK vs US series and honestly, we’re already gagging.
Drag Race fatigue? What Drag Race fatigue!
With season 12, All Stars 5, Drag Race Canada, Drag Race Australia and Celebrity Drag Race all in various stages of production (not to mention a second UK season), there’s a real danger that RuPaul’s Drag Race is heading for burnout.
And yet, there’s one more series that fans are clamouring to see: A UK vs US All Stars edition.
Since RuPaul welcomed the inaugural batch of British queens to the werk room, fans have wondered how they’d interact with their American counterparts.

We were given hints early on in the BBC series, as the queens met Raven during the “posh on a pound” challenge, and again last week, when Divina De Campo won a sit-down chat with All Stars 2 runner-up Katya.
But now, two fan favourite queens have given us the biggest tease yet, confirming that they’d be in for a crossover series.
“Just dreamt about Drag Race: US vs UK,” tweeted season 5 winner Jinx Monsoon. “If it happens, I’m in.”

And it seems they’re not the only ones keen to explore the special relationship on-screen. PinkNews asked some of the British queens whether they’d be up for a trans-Atlantic battle, and the answer was pretty much unanimous.
“I’d give it a go,” said Scaredy Kat. “This experience [on Drag Race UK] definitely scarred me, but I’d do it again.”
Vinegar Strokes said that she would “absolutely” return for another season.
“If there was another opportunity, it would be good to do this again, although my bank balance might be like ‘what are you doing?'” she said.
Gothy Kendoll agreed, explaining: “The show was filmed six months ago. I’ve been doing drag for two years, so in those six months I’ve grown so much more.”
Blu Hydrangea was a little more coy, but said that her time on the show had been “amazing”.
“At the time I was panicking every day, but afterwards I realised it was the best experience of my life.”
So there you have it, RuPaul. You better werk… at bringing us the UK vs US battle we’re all desperate for.
