Caitlyn Jenner’s partner slams Piers Morgan as a ‘joke’ for ‘pathetic’ questions on sex life
Caitlyn Jenner’s partner Sophia Hutchins called Piers Morgan “a joke of a journalist” after he pestered her about her sex life live on Good Morning Britain.
Hutchins appeared on the ITV breakfast show on Wednesday morning to discuss Jenner’s stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Morgan began the interview by asking Hutchins about the nature of her and Jenner’s relationship, asking: “So there’s no hanky panky then?”
The 23-year-old appeared visibly stunned as he continued: “We just want all the goss.”
After discussing Jenner’s performance on the ITV reality show, Morgan returned to his original line of questioning, asking: “If you’re not an item, why aren’t you an item?”
“Was that a real question?” Hutchins, who is trans, asked.
She clarified that she and Caitlyn Jenner, 70, consider themselves “partners in every sense of the word”.
“I think we have a really special relationship, I don’t think that we need to be an item to have a really special relationship,” she explained.
Signing off the interview, Morgan and co-presenter Susanna Reid asked Hutchins if she would be flying to Australia to greet Jenner at the I’m A Celebrity final.
“I think everyone should go down under at least once in their life,” Morgan said.
After the exchange aired, Hutchins said that neither she nor Caitlyn Jenner would ever be interviewed by Morgan again.
“Good Morning Britain, having Piers Morgan is your biggest mistake,” she said.
“What a joke of a journalist he is. What a pathetic line of questioning he had for me this morning, totally not cool.
“I went on to support Caitlyn on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! not to deal with stupid bulls**t questions from some jack*ss like Piers Morgan.”
Morgan replied on Twitter, telling Hutchins: “Oh get over yourself.”

Caitlyn Jenner has been linked with Hitchins since 2017, two years after the former Olympian came out as trans.
The pair have repeatedly denied that they are in a sexual relationship, despite rumours to the contrary.
In August, they were forced to deny a “foolish” report that they were planning to have a child together via a surrogate.
Earlier this week, Hutchins said that the 47-year age gap between herself and Jenner precludes any romance.
“We have such a big age difference, so there’s not really a romantic sense to that relationship which I’ve said before as well,” she told ITV’s Loose Women.
“We have dogs together, we live together. Really, I think it comes down to that we are family at the end of the day. I think that’s been a really special connection I don’t think you find with a lot of people.”
