Schitt’s Creek season 6 will soon arrive on Netflix, after the Canadian comedy scored a mammoth 15 Emmy nominations.
The cult comedy is up for 15 awards at the 2020 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series and Best Actor nods for al four leads.
Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy have been nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor/Actress in a Comedy Series, with Dan Levy and Annie Murphy up for Supporting Actor/Actress gongs.
Schitt’s Creek’s Emmy nominations cap off the series’ stellar swansong year, which has already seen fans wave goodbye to the Rose family for one final time.
The final season of Schitt’s Creek aired on Canada’s CBC and US pay network Pop TV earlier this year, with critics calling the sign-off “perfect” and a “masterpiece”. But it is yet to air on Netflix – though that will change soon.

After Patrick (Noah Reid) proposed to David (Dan Levy) at the end of season 5, the final 14 episodes follow the Roses and their friends as they plan for the next stages of their lives, encountering heartbreaks, successes and new opportunities along the way.
For Moira (Catherine O’Hara), this means navigating the fall-out of the Crows Have Eyes III cancellation, for Alexis (Annie Murphy), working out how her relationship with Ted (Dustin Milligan) can pass the Galapagos test.
Elsewhere, Johnny (Eugene Levy) and Stevie (Emily Hampshire) find themselves with a surprise new business partner, while David and Patrick set about planning what promises to be an unforgettable wedding.
