Ben Platt and Noah Galvin are officially dating and the sound you hear is a million hearts breaking in perfect harmony
Ben Platt and Noah Galvin have finally confirmed they are dating after months of rumours.
Galvin revealed that he is in a “relatively new” relationship with his Dear Evan Hansen predecessor.
“I asked him this morning, I was like, are we allowed to talk about this?” the actor told Ilana Levine on the Little Known Facts podcast.
“And he’s like, ‘Don’t go into our nitty gritty, but yeah, people can know.’ It’s still relatively new.”
Fans began speculating that Platt and Galvin were romantically involved after they started cropping up on each others’ social media accounts.

Ben Platt and Noah Galvin are the second couple to emerge from Dear Evan Hansen.
Platt originated the title role in the Tony-winning musical before passing the torch on to Galvin. Two other Hansen leads, Taylor Trensch and Ben Levi Ross, have also been dating since December 2017.
Galvin joked: “I know it’s so incestuous.
“But it makes sense sense, like, we all went through the war together. We all feel very connected.”
Ben Platt gave boyfriend Noah Galvin an adorable birthday present.
Galvin confirmed that he and Platt are currently quarantining and spoke about his recent 26th birthday, revealing that Platt spent months working on a special gift.
“Long story short, Ben made me a birthday video,” he explained.
“Ben very sweetly for the past, like, probably three months, has been putting together this video for me. It’s all my favourite drag queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race and beyond and all of my friends in drag, wishing me a happy birthday.”
Ben Platt came out publicly as gay last February.
He said he’d been out to his family and friends since the age of 12, telling People: I’ve never sort of hidden that or been ashamed by it. It’s just part of me.”
