This bisexual guy has an ingenious solution for convincing fragile anti-maskers to wear a face covering

A bisexual TikTok user came up with a compelling reason to force fragile anti-maskers to put on a face covering.
By now, everyone knows the drill: Wear a face mask, save lives. But some – mostly, according to researchers, men – consider the notion of wearing a face covering to, again, save people’s lives, an assault on not just their liberties, but their masculinity too.
A recent study found that men are less likely to wear a face mask than women because they feel they are “shameful, not cool, a sign of weakness and a stigma”, while actual world leaders have claimed face coverings are “too gay”.
But TikTok user Spence Logan invented on Sunday (August 23) quite possibly the most effective healthcare initiative ever: making not wearing a mask gay.
In the video, a masked Logan described the moment he saw a man not wearing a face mask at his local grocery store.
“So, I walked up to him and said: ‘Hey, are you coming out tonight?'” he recalled.
The guy was sufficiently stumped by Logan’s question, as he added: “Are you coming to the hole tonight?”
“And he was like: ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about,’ and I was like: ‘Oh, you’re not… I get it, sorry. It’s just, I’m gay and in our community, we don’t wear masks others to let others know that we’re down to hook-up.’
“And he put his mask on. That’s how we win this game, guys, we gotta use the toxic masculinity against them.”

OK, but why are men not wearing masks?
In the US especially, face masks have become a flashpoint of the culture war surrounding COVID-19.
Anti-maskers have staged widespread protests rallying against pieces of fabric that not only protect the wearer, but all those around them from a deadly virus, because, you know, freedom.

There have been widespread reports of men launching into homophobic, racist and generally idiotic rages after being asked to don face coverings in settings such as supermarkets, despite it being law to do so in many parts of the world.
Many men feel that wearing a face covering will throw their masculinity into jeopardy, with researchers who investigated the issue citing a belief not grounded by science, that men are less impacted by COVID-19, as well as how wearing a mask just is “not cool”.
Perhaps the most notable example of this thinking came from Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro, who refused to wear a face mask because they were “too gay”. He subsequently tested positive for COVID-19, becoming one of more than 3.5 million in Brazil to acquire to virus.
