Drag Race royalty Trinity the Tuck teases the fabled all-winners season – and reveals if she’d ever take over from RuPaul

Drag Race legend Trinity the Tuck only won All Stars 4 last year – but she’s teased that she’d be game for another trip round the werk room.
Having been catapulted to fame on Drag Race, Trinity speaks of the show with reverence. She’s clearly a big fan, telling PinkNews that she and her boyfriend Leo (also her creative partner) binge-watched every single season in preparation for All Stars 5.
Both she and her co-winner Monet X Change made a cameo in that season’s grand finale, which saw Shea Couleé join them in the Drag Race Hall of Fame. But would Trinity be interested in a more full-time return to the franchise – say, for an all-winners season?
“I did an interview after right after I won [All Stars 4], and someone asked, ‘Would you ever go back for an all-winners season?’,” she said.
“And at first I was said ‘no’, because I had I had reached my goal. But after thinking about it, of course I would go back.”
Trinity, who is currently hosting her own drag contest series, Love For The Arts, sees Drag Race as a reality show as well as a competition.

“It’s about putting on a show and I love the experience,” she says. “It would be another way to give content to your fans.”
“Drag Race has given me this platform, and even if I can be part of it in the future in some way, even if it’s something small, like what I did for Celebrity Drag Race, yes, I would totally do that.”
And if RuPaul were to one day step down, would Trinity be at all interested in taking the reins, putting the skills she’s acquired on Love For The Arts to good use?
“I think that Drag Race is what it is because of RuPaul, I don’t know that it would ever be the same. I know it would not be the same without the dynamic of RuPaul and the judges – they have such a great chemistry. And there’s just not anyone like RuPaul, no one else can compare as far as a host for that show.”
Trinity joins a growing number of winners who have confirmed they’d be game for a return to the werk room.
Raja, Sharon Needles, Violet Chachki and Jinkx Monsoon have all said they would definitely return if asked, while Aquaria recently told PinkNews that she’d “never say never”.
Were the fabled season to ever happen, it’s certain that Trinity would have a rare advantage: she’s already sized up each and every one of her possible competitors in her acclaimed Drag Race winners Instagram series.

During lockdown she and Leo paid tribute to each of the 18 queens to have won the crown in the US, plus Drag Race UK winner The Vivienne.
“We created the tribute series because I don’t want people to forget the history of Drag Race, the past winners that have came before,” she explained.
“I wanted people to remember these great artists that have paved the way for the contestants that are coming in the future – and also wants to do my spin on their looks just because it was something different and fun.”
