‘Every vote counts’ protesters drown out bitter speech by Trump adviser Pam Bondi with Beyoncé – because obviously

Pennsylvania protesters vying for every absentee vote be counted, because democracy, drowned out the barbed remarks of Pam Bondi during a Thursday (November 5) speech with none other than Beyoncé.
Because if you’re going to blast out the bluster from a Republican, it might as well be 4, let’s be honest here.
As Joe Biden widens his slender lead over Donald Trump in the election overall, the confusion and anger felt by voters played-out in the streets outside the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
While there is no evidence of election fraud or misconduct in the state, Trump supporters have mobilised to halt counting as the ballots increasingly evaporate Trump’s lead in Pennsylvania, prompting voting rights activists to counter.

Pam Bondi tries to tout Trump court win, but Beyoncé blasts her out.
“Every vote counts” protesters squared off with Trump supporters, led by Bondi, the former attorney general of Florida.
Joined by former 2016 Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and surrounded by “Trump 2020” and “Catholics for Trump” signs, Bondi began to talk to a throng of reporters when all anyone could hear was “Party”.
According to Buzzfeed News‘ Amber Jamieson on Twitter, it was no accident that Beyoncé was playing during the speech. DJing the protest was Nicolas O’Rourke, state organising director for PA’s Working Families Party.
O’Rourke said that he’s been very “specific” about the tracks he lined-up for the demonstration, with a lot of Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar and Childish Gambino booming from the sound systems.

“There are messages in the [‘Party’],” he said,” freedom is something we’re fighting for.
“If you’re in Philadelphia and want to protest, we have no problem with your protest. We know how to protest too.”
In other words, the aux cord here did more for democracy than the Trump campaign team ever did.
Indeed, while Bondi and Lewandowski strained for themselves to be heard, the “Every vote counts” protesters danced to the music and swayed their signs beaming “Count every vote” with pride.
What Bondi and Lewandowski did attempt to tout was a court order regarding election observing, allowing poll observers to be closer.
It comes after Trump campaign filed a lawsuit in Pennslyvania on Wednesday alleging a lack of “transparency” in vote-counting.
Philadelphia’s mail-in ballots are being opened and scanned inside the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Center City. City commissioners warn that with more than 226,000 votes left to sort, they have no clue when counting will end and a result finalised.
