Trixie Mattel has had it up to here with Donald Trump and his legion of Karens – sorry – Pattys
Trixie Mattel has officially had it with Donald Trump, and a woman named Patty.
The Drag Race legend has become a Twitter sensation once again after her simple but effective takedown of a woman called Patty who leapt to the defence of the Republican.
Trump has been waging war on democracy since results started pouring in on Tuesday night (November 3), claiming Democrats are trying to “steal” the election through fraudulent means. There is absolutely zero evidence of this being the case.
He has repeatedly called for states to stop counting legitimate votes – something that will not happen – and on Wednesday (November 4) complained count centres were “finding Biden votes all over the place” in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan – as they would be, because people have literally voted for him.
“So bad for for our country!” Trump tweeted, once again failing to provide any evidence to back up his claims.
Trixie was having absolutely none of it. She replied to Trump: “Mary they found them in ballot boxes from voters. Pack your s**t.”
The drag artist’s tweet racked up more than 18,000 likes – and naturally, a few Trump fans weren’t impressed.
Trixie Mattel eviscerates Patty on Twitter.
A woman called Patty, with the very legitimate-sounding Twitter handle “Patty62562359”, replied to Trixie Mattel’s tweet asking: “Who TF (the f**k) do you think you’re talking to???”
Mattel absolutely destroyed the Trump bot in a response that rapidly went viral, telling her: “Patty don’t start.”
Her legion of fans quickly turned the iconic moment into a meme.

Patty, the judges found your tweet to be a bit crabby. I’m sorry my dear, but you are up for humiliation. pic.twitter.com/n6VnCYnN9w— hails ✨ (@haileywhitmoree) November 5, 2020

Trixie tweeted a screenshot of the exchange on Wednesday night, and by Thursday morning (November 5) it had become a viral sensation, racking up more than 100,000 likes.
A follow up tweet, simply saying #pattydontstart, has been liked more than 29,000 times.
Tweeting on Thursday, Trixie said: “My phone exploded overnight and Patty is the new Karen.”

Trixie Mattel isn’t the only one who has had it with Trump and his conspiracy theories – there was global shock and revulsion when the president baselessly claimed on Wednesday, as counting continued, that Democrats were trying to steal the election from him.
Trump has failed to produce any evidence to back up his claims about fraud, but his campaign has pressed ahead, filing lawsuits in an effort to gain access to count centres. Meanwhile, as votes come in, his path to re-election narrows, while Joe Biden believes his own victory looks likely.
