Britney Spears admits she ‘cried for weeks’ over explosive Framing documentary: ‘I was embarrassed’

Britney Spears “cried for two weeks” after the release of an explosive documentary that charted her life.
Framing Britney Spears has enthralled the world with its sobering look at Spears’ life, from the belligerent treatment she suffered from the press to her controversial conservatorship.
Commenting on the documentary for the first time since its release in February, Spears reflected on how her life has long been “speculated” on.
“I didn’t watch the documentary but from what I did see of it I was embarrassed by the light they put me in,” she wrote in a Instagram caption.
“I cried for two weeks and well …. I still cry sometimes !!!! I have been exposed my whole life performing in front of people !!!
“It takes a lot of strength to TRUST the universe with your real vulnerability cause I’ve always been so judged… insulted… and embarrassed by the media… and I still am till this day !!!!”
The 39-year-old added: “As the world keeps on turning and life goes on we still remain so fragile and sensitive as people !!!”

Britney Spears capped off her candid post, which included a video of her dancing barefoot to Aerosmith’s “Crazy”, by stressing to her 29 million followers that she does “what I can in my own spirituality with myself to try and keep my own joy … love … and happiness !!!!”
“Every day dancing brings me joy !!! I’m not here to be perfect … perfect is boring … I’m here to pass on kindness.”
Britney Spears files to remove her father from her life
Britney Spears previously alluded to the documentary in a prior Instagram post, writing: “No matter what we think we know about a person’s life, it is nothing compared to the actual person living behind the lens.”
Since announcing an “indefinite work hiatus“, Spears has vastly shied away from the spotlight. Her Instagram account, filled with flowery inspirational quotes and solitary dance routines, is one of the few forms of contact Britney has with her fans.
Spears has vowed never to perform publicly again as long as her father, Jamie Spears, remains in charge of her career.
She has over the last year sought to change this: making legal bids to have her father removed from her conservatorship, which sees both her financial and personal life under the management of others.
While he remains glued to her estate, she launched yet another legal bid to have Jamie removed from the role of head of person – a role that manages her healthcare, medical insurance and contact with others – last week.
