Drag Race UK stars The Vivienne, Tia Kofi and Veronica Green to headline Drag Queens of Pop theatre show
Drag Race UK stars The Vivienne, Tia Kofi and Veronica Green are starring in Drag Queens of Pop, and tickets are on-sale.
The live extravaganza will head to the Vaudeville Theatre in London’s West End for three nights this May, so hold onto your wigs.
Drag Queens of Pop will see the trio take over the theatre between 17-19 May to perform their solo releases alongside some classic pop covers.
The shows will take place at the reopened theatre under COVID-19 secure guidelines, with a socially distanced audience, and tickets are now available from Love Theatre.
In a recent interview with PinkNews Tia Kofi said: “People are going to be able to come back to the theatre, back to the show, and the chance to provide that [entertainment] for people is just incredible and humbling.”
Fans can expect to hear some girl group favourites as series one winner, The Vivienne, posted a short clip from rehearsals with what looks like the choreography from Girls Aloud’s video “The Promise” and a caption featuring the band, Little Mix and Spice Girls.

The show promises “more queens to be added”, with Liverpool queen Shania Pain confirmed to be appearing after featuring in The Vivienne’s rehearsal clip.
While rehearsing at London night club Heaven earlier this week the four queens had to be evacuated after a “sick individual” made a bomb threat.
On her Instagram story The Vivienne said: “It’s such a shame after lockdown and everybody dying to get back to work and back on stage, we’re finally there, finally rehearsing for stuff and somebody decided to do a horrible hoax, prank.”
But the three queens thanked the police for “keeping the situation under control” and their fans for their “kind messages”.
The trio will also be taking the Drag Queens of Pop show to Manchester Pride on August bank holiday weekend.
They’ll perform at MCR Pride Live alongside a lineup including Zara Larsson, Eve, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Katy B and Mykki Blanco.
Tickets for the Vaudeville Theatre shows are priced from £24 and you can via lovetheatre.com.
