Charli XCX looks like the queen of pop, rock and everything else in a brand new campaign for Ray-Ban
Charli XCX is being effortlessly iconic in a brand new campaign for Ray-Ban.
The singer has appeared in Ray-Ban’s latest “You Are On” campaign and is serving us rock star chic.
She revealed the new campaign through her Instagram page, where she’s wearing Ray-Ban’s ‘Nomad Shiny Havana’ sunglasses.
The frame design is originally from the 70s and pays homage to rock and film history that the brand says, “never falls out of fashion”.
Charli channels this energy by pairing it with leather pants and matching jacket alongside some huge platform boots.
Fans obviously loved the shots with lots of “icon” comments, while one said, “my queen of pop” and another joked, “charli pls adopt me”,
Another fan said it reminded them of her pop-meets-punk second album saying: “this look is giving Sucker vibes, i love it”.

In an interview with NYLON she spoke about the collab and her personal style saying: “I mean, because of quarantine I’d say it’s evolved into something very, very casual and chill.”
She added, “most of the time I just wear my boyfriend’s clothes or a dressing gown,” which is a big mood for the past year.
But she does say, “I’m excited to get really dressed up again. I’ve missed wearing fierce shoes and stomping around all over the place,” and we can’t wait to see her serve some looks, especially on tour.
Discussing her latest style inspirations she notes female wrestlers from the 80s – camp! – and guitar legend Steve Vai, which could give fans an idea of what to expect with her upcoming album.
This is because she adds: “I love building out a world with my music and fashion is very much a part of that. It helps me tell a story and helps me feel alive.”
She recently teased new music when responding to a fan on TikTok saying: “Next album is gonna be POPTASTIC and I’m feeling very inspired.”
Charli later confirmed on Twitter, “the next album will be my 5th and final album under my current record deal (Atlantic),” and will follow up her quarantine album how I’m feeling now, which was created in six weeks in collaboration with her fans.
