Princess Diana’s iconic 90s sweatshirts are available to buy from Etsy and they won’t break the bank
Princess Diana’s street style is still iconic today (as is she), in particular her oversized, casual sweatshirts.
Diana’s outfits regularly made headline news including her off-duty looks during trips to the Chelsea Harbour Club and Earl’s Court Gym.
Her influence in fashion is just as big now as it was in the 1990s, with Instagram and Twitter pages dedicated to her outfits.
While celebrities like the Kardashians rock her recognisable cycle shorts and sweater combo, and even Hailey Bieber paid homage to Diana in a Paris Vogue shoot.
So if you want to add some of Princess Diana’s style into your wardrobe then you can, with almost-identical versions of her iconic 1990s sweatshirts now available.

This includes her ‘USA’ jumper, which she was photographed wearing on a trip to her gym at the Chelsea Harbour Club in April 1997.
The replica of Princess Diana’s ‘USA’ sweater is available from Etsy here from £22, in a white or sport grey.
It’s perfect to pair with hoop earrings, cycle shorts, chunky socks and trainers to emulate Diana’s style, or with denim jeans to rock a purely 90s look.
The jumper has received rave reviews from customers, with one noting it’s perfect for “summer nights” and an “oversized look.”
Another added: “Love it! Great quality and have had many compliments on my sweatshirt.”
You can also get another iconic garment worn by Princess Diana, the ‘Fly Virgin Atlantic’ jumper for £25.99, which is a lot cheaper than the original.
In 2019 the original, which was a gift from Sir Richard Branson, sold at auction for a whopping £42,700.
It features the airline’s retro logo, which was inspired by Peruvian painter Alberto Vargas’ sketches of pin-up girls in the 1930s.
Princess Diana would repeatedly arrive at the gym wearing the same jumper to stop paparazzi from getting new pictures of her.
Shortly before her tragic death, she gave the sweatshirt to her personal trainer and longtime friend Jenni Rivett, with a note reading: “Dearest Jenni, lots of love from, Diana, x” as reported by Yahoo.
It was also recently revealed that Diana worked out at a queer men’s gym because “she really liked gay guys” according to Jeremy Norman who set up Soho Gyms.
Diana was a member of his Earl’s Court Gym – where she was regularly papped – and “she really felt at ease with gay men, she could relate to them and she didn’t feel threatened by them in any way,” Norman told PinkNews.
