Drag Race All Stars 6 line-up is officially here and fans are torn: ‘This cast is chaotic’

Drag Race All Stars 6 just crowned a winner, baby

After being leaked only hours ago, the RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6 line-up was officially confirmed Wednesday (26 May) – and fans had some serious thoughts.

In short, prepared to be gagged and/or gooped. On the official Drag Race YouTube and Twitter pages and against a warming sunset colour scheme, the full 13 queens were unveiled.

In their second – or third – shot at entering the Drag Race Hall Of Hame, the announced queens range from years-long fan favourites to some unexpected arrivals.

And for Drag Race fans both old and new, all they could do was cower in fear of the absolute chaotic energy to come from the new season.

A’Keria C. Davenport

The season 11 star who soared to the top four, A’Keria C. Davenport is a venerable queen from Texas. She’s a member of the house of Davenport and has won several national titles in drag pageantry including Miss Black Universe in 2017.

Eureka O’Hara

The self-proclaimed “Elephant Queen” Eureka O’Hara saw her shot at the crown come to an abrupt end in season nine after injuring her knee.

The non-binary icon returned the following season and went onto front HBO’s groundbreaking We’re Here.

Ginger Minj

A fiery Drag Race legend who roiled the season seven cast with her flare, Ginger Minj was runner-up before appearing in All Stars 2.

Jan

Nicknamed the Troy Bolton of Drag Race, Jan dazzled and delighted on season 12 of Drag Race with her musical theatre talents.

Jiggly Caliente

The living meme Jiggly – you know her name already – blossomed in the series’ fourth season. While she came in eighth place, she quickly became an enduring fan favourite and later appeared as Veronica on the FX series Pose.

Kylie Sonique Love

Remember season two? Kylie Sonique Love is very much a Drag Race legend and made Drag Race herstory as the first queen to come out as trans on the show.

Pandora Boxx

It’s safe to say the show has changed a lot since its beginnings when Pandora Boxx won Miss Congeniality back in 2010 on the second season. How has she changed in the more than a decade since?

Ra’Jah O’Hara

Yup, there’s another O’Hara in town here. Artist Ra’Jah made a name for herself as the lip-sync assassin of Drag Race‘s season 11 before being eliminated in episode seven.

Scarlet Envy

The season 11 queen Scarlet Envy, well, she wore a lot of red, but barely any were ready for just how jaw-dropping her looks would be.

Serena ChaCha

She was just a graduate when the Panamanian queen became the youngest contestant on Drag Race season five. But Serena ChaCha has matured since, and it’ll be interesting, to say the least, to see what years of growth have done for her.

Silky Nutmeg Ganache

Capping off the season 11 alum is Silky Nutmeg Ganache. She has competed in numerous pageants and has worked with an array of music stars including Iggy Azalea and Lizzo.

Trinity K. Bonet

Trinity K. Bonet didn’t just earn the title of lip sync assassin in season six for her talent at mouthing along and bringing songs to life – she also spoke out. Sparking much-needed conversations when she revealed she lives with HIV while on the show.

Yara Sofia

Last, but certainly not least, is Yara Sofia. The third season queen won Miss Congeniality after edging so close to the crown, making it into the top four.

And it’s safe to say fans – and other Drag Race stars – had a lot of feelings about the full cast. With some praising the show while others could only brace for the pure chaos to come to Paramount+.
