First guest judges for Drag Race UK season three have officially been Ru-vealed

The first Drag Race UK season three guest judges have been announced.
Like a desperate final four lip sync, the Drag Race UK reveals just keep on coming.
Days after the BBC introduced the world to the 12 new queens gracing the werk room this season, we now know the first three celebrities who’ll be putting them through their paces.
Joining RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Alan Carr and Graham Norton behind the judges’ desk this year will be Strictly star Oti Mabuse and comedians Matt Lucas and Kathy Burke.
Mabuse will lend her dance expertise to the 12 new queens, all of whom she adored.
“They’re so funny, so talented but even more than that they are real and it’s beautiful to see them really come out of their shell,” she said.
Lucas will appear on the Drag Race UK season three premiere. The star of Little Britain said being on the show has always been part of his bucket list.

“But my years of wearing tights are behind me, so I was both relieved and delighted to be asked to be on the panel,” he joked.
The legendary Kathy Burke, who said her drag name would be Pan Demic, described her time on the show as “important”.
“I’m a big Drag Race fan, so It was absolutely brilliant to meet RuPaul and Michelle Visage – and I loved the very-kind-to-old-ladies’ lighting.”
The remaining guest judges will be confirmed in due course. However, it’s previously been reported that Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock will make an appearance on the season.
It’s also been reported that Elton John will appear via video link, in arguably the biggest signing the franchise has ever scored.
Drag Race UK season three will launch on BBC iPlayer in September.

Twelve queens will compete for the crown, including the franchise’s first ever cis woman contestant, Victoria Scone, and season two returnee Veronica Green.
The line-up has faced some criticism for its lack of diversity, with just three queens of colour competing.
Season two finalist Tayce was among those to share their disappointment, tweeting: Congrats to all the S3 s**gs! I’m so proud to see so many familiar faces and excited to get to know the unfamiliar,” she wrote.
“With that being said, I’m a little taken aback by the lack of diversity, especially as I personally know so many incredible PoC (people of colour), trans and AFAB (assigned female at birth) performers. Hopefully things will improve, and for now I wish nothing best for the S3 girls.”
