Evan Rachel Wood gives Marilyn Manson the finger after Kanye West ‘slapped survivors in the face’

Evan Rachel Wood gave the finger to Marilyn Manson during a moving performance after Kanye West “slapped survivors in the face” by bringing her alleged abuser on stage.
Last week, West faced huge backlash after bringing Manson, along with homophobe DaBaby, onstage with him at a listening party for his tenth album Donda.
West further endorsed the two disgraced artists when the album was finally released, and fans found that the track “Jail, Pt. 2″ features vocals by DaBaby and Manson.
Wood came forward with allegations against Manson, real name Brian Warner, in February this year. Although the actor and singer had spoken out about being a victim of abuse previously, this was the first time she had named her alleged abuser.
In response to the platform Manson was given by West, Wood performed a moving rendition “You Get What You Give” by New Radicals at Los Angeles’ Bourbon Room on Saturday (28 August).

As Wood, who is part of the band Evan + Zane with Zane Carney, belted out the famous line, “Courtney Love and Marilyn Manson, you’re all fakes, run to your mansions, come around, we’ll kick your asses”, she raised her middle finger to the cheering crowd.
Wood posted the iconic moment to Instagram, and captioned her post: “‘You get what you give.’ For my fellow survivors who got slapped in the face this week.
“I love you. Don’t give up.”

Evan Rachel Wood accused Manson of being abusive during their relationship in an explosive Instagram post on 1 February, 2021.
Having previously spoken about an unnamed abuser, she wrote: “The name of my abuser is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson, he started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years.
“I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission.”
Wood called out the “industries that have enabled him”, and said she was calling him out “before he ruins any more lives”.
“I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent.”
Following her allegations, at least 15 women have accused Manson of sexual assault. He has denied everything.
