Mean Girls Day: Celebrate the iconic film with this Burn Book party game that’s so fetch
Get in loser! We’re going to play a board game that is so fetch because it’s Mean Girls Day.
The ‘unofficial’ Mean Girls Day is officially on 3 October, because “on October third” Aaron Samuels asked Cady Heron what day it was… it was October third.
It’s celebrated by fans of the iconic comedy by posting memes and quotes from the film, re-watching the classic and wearing pink, of course.
Now you can also get the girls, gays and theys together to play a party game based on the hit film, penned by Tina Fey.
It allows players to bring out their inner Regina George – to an extent of course – as it asks you write secretly outrageous things about your friends.
Players have to answer questions about each other like, “what does their face smell like?”, “what do they wear on Wednesday?” or “who do they have an inappropriate crush on?”.
Once you’ve filled in your Burn Book, the players win points by guessing who wrote what scandalous things about them.
Whoever it was, the real author has to own up, so you might feel like you’ve been hit by a bus, figuratively, obviously.
It doesn’t get too mean, and it resembles Cards Against Humanity, but this time you get to write you own, wild answers.

The Mean Girls joke that blew fan’s minds
Earlier this year a TikTokker, named Sabrina Aleave, shared a video saying that one of the film’s “most iconic” jokes went over all of our heads.
In the video, Aleave explained: “It’s come to my attention that most people don’t know the most iconic joke in Mean Girls.
“If you remember at the end of the movie, Kevin G starts dancing with Janis and asks her: ‘Are you Puerto Rican?’
“She says: ‘No, I’m Lebanese.’
“If you remember earlier in the movie when Regina was talking to Cady, she was talking about how she doesn’t want to hang out with [Janis] because she thinks she is a lesbian.
“The whole premise of the movie was based on the fact that Regina didn’t understand the difference between ‘Lebanese’ and ‘lesbian’.”
It led to fans of the film commenting, “I don’t know what’s real anymore” and “The amount of times I’ve watched this movie, and I never realised!”.
