Madonna’s latest photo shoot sees her dealing with some “car trouble” in a series of racy outfits – and the internet is obsessed.
The pictures show Madonna draped across a car wearing platform heels, sexy lingerie and an ankle-length jacket bearing the message “God Save the Queen” (which we can only assume refers to herself).
The legendary pop star shared the snaps on Instagram on Friday with the caption “Car trouble”, along with a series of emojis – and her followers were immediately whipped into a frenzy. The series of snaps have racked up more than 470,000 likes and fans have rushed to heap praise on the star.
The post was flooded with comments calling her “stunning” and a “goddess” – but sadly, the Queen of Pop also faced a handful of ageist and sexist comments, with many suggesting she should no longer pose for racy photoshoots because of her age.

One of the most high-profile detractors was Nelly, who commented: “Something’s should just be left covered up..” alongside a facepalm emoji.
Other commenters accused Madonna of setting a bad example for young people, while others implored her to embrace her “natural” beauty. In case you haven’t been paying attention, Madonna has been facing those same comments for more than 30 years.

Throughout her career, Madonna has constantly battled against ageist ideas about how women should express themselves – and she’s showing no sign of slowing down on that mission.
The singer’s latest pictures comes just months after she sent shockwaves through the internet with her subversive, erotic bedroom photoshoot.
In November, Madonna posted a series of snaps to Instagram which showed her lounging on a bed wearing fishnets and leather. One of the iconic photos showed her biting down on her bed frame while wearing a crucifix around her neck.
Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that the photoshoot was a throwback to her 1992 photo book, Sex, but others used the opportunity to make ageist and sexist comments about Madonna. One of those who mocked the singer for daring to put her sexuality on display was 50 Cent, who said the photoshoot was the “funniest s**t” he had seen as she was “trying to do like a virgin at 63”.
Madonna later condemned 50 Cent’s comments on her Instagram stories. She called him out for “pretending to be my friend” before saying his “new career” is to “humiliate” others online.
The singer’s November photoshoot was later removed by Instagram for violating its policies on nudity.
