Ezra Miller as The Flash

Warner Bros unveiled new footage of The Flash at CinemaCon 2022, amid continued controversy surrounding lead actor Ezra Miller.

The 29-year-old actor was revealed to be facing an assault charge in Hawaii earlier this month after allegedly throwing a chair that hit a woman.

This comes just weeks after they were arrested for disorderly conduct and harassment over an incident in a karaoke bar. Last year, Miller was apparently caught on video grabbing a fan by the throat.

The incidents have sparked widespread speculation over Miller’s role as DC’s The Flash, with some fans calling for the role to be recast.

However, Warner Bros presented a new trailer for The Flash’s upcoming solo outing at CinemaCon 2022 which included footage of Miller.

Miller, as Barry Allen (The Flash), is seen crying, according to Deadline, and is heard saying: “Time has a pattern.”

According to reports, the Flash trailer gave a first look at Sasha Calle’s Supergirl, Michael Shannon’s Zod, and Michael Keaton’s return as Batman. Ben Affleck also appears in the film as Batman.

Scenes from the trailer showed Keaton’s Batman living in Wayne Manor, with the character appearing with long hair and a beard.

In the footage, Keaton is seen in wearing suit without its cowl. In another, he can be seen standing in front of seven iconic Batman suits.

The Flash, which stars Ezra Miller as the DC hero with unbelievable speed, was recently delayed from November 2022 to June 2023.

It’s unknown when the full trailer will be officially released.

Ezra Miller was arrested in Hawaii on 19 April after an incident in a private residence.

They reportedly becoming “irate” when asked to leave a gathering at a home in Pāhoa, and allegedly threw a chair that struck a woman.

Miller is now facing a second-degree assault charge.
