The Pride 2022 collection features a limited edition pair of one of Dr. Martens’ signature silhouettes.
It’s the 1461 shoe, which features sole to stitch in monochrome white, alongside Daniel Quasar’s Progress Pride flag which is emblazoned on the leather upper.
The gender neutral shoes are priced at £119 and are available in sizes three to 13.
The collection also features a pair of white socks branded with Dr. Martens lettering in the Progress Pride flag colours.
They’re priced at £8 and can be paired with the 1461 Pride shoes or your favourite pair of Docs.
As part of their Pride campaign, Dr. Martens has confirmed it is pledging to donate £217,000 to charities around the world.
In the UK they’re donating to the Albert Kennedy Trust, an LGBT+ youth homelessness charity who provide housing support, mentoring and life skills training.
They say: “Pride is more than a single moment in the calendar. Gender identity and sexual orientation are important every single day.
“That’s why we’re committed to engaging with and elevating the LGBT+ community by donating to organisations and charities across the globe to help them with their vital work of protecting and providing.
“We collaborate with artists and creators at all levels to ensure that representation is at the heart of our work. We listen to our wearers so that their voices are heard and opinions matter. Throughout the year. Every year.”
The brand is also asking fans and customers to share their Pride looks using the hashtag #DMSALWAYSPROUD on social media.
