Woman ‘choked’ by Ezra Miller in disturbing video breaks silence as more allegations surface
A woman apparently choked by Ezra Miller in a 2020 video has spoken out about the incident amid a raft of allegations.
In April 2020, a video appearing to show Miller grabbing a woman’s throat and then pushing her to the ground surfaced on the internet.
Two years on, following a series of troubling allegations against the actor, the woman in the video has spoken about the ordeal publicly for the first time in an interview with Variety.
In the video, Miller can be seen walking toward a woman who is smiling at them, before asking her: “Do you want to fight? Is that what you do?”
They then grab the woman by the neck as she lets out a loud gasp. The video ends as the person filming attempts to intervene.
The woman, who wants to remain anonymous, told Variety that prior to the incident she had been talking to Miller and enquired about their injured feet. Miller responded that they were battle scars.
The woman says she jokingly replied: “But just so you know, I could take you in a fight.”
“You really want to fight?” Miller responded, she said. She told Miller to meet her in the smoking area, where the filmed incident then unfolded.
“I think it’s just fun and games — but then it wasn’t,” she said.
Variety also spoke to a woman who said Miller verbally abused her in her own home
Nadia (the outlet withheld her surname) said she and Miller shared a two-year friendship, with a sexual liaison occurring once in 2020.
Nadia said that in February 2022, she invited Miller to her apartment in Berlin, Germany. She said Miller was “set off” after she told them to stop smoking in their home. Nadia asked Miller to leave but they refused, she said.
“I asked them to leave about 20 times, maybe more,” Nadia told Variety. “They started insulting me: I’m a ‘transphobic piece of s**t.’ I’m a ‘Nazi.’
“It became so, so stressful for me. They were going around my house, looking at everything, touching everything, spreading tobacco leaves on the floor. It felt disgusting and very intrusive.”
Miller left Nadia’s apartment after she called the police. Nadia said she feared Miller “could somehow attack me physically” – though she makes clear she wasn’t afraid they would sexually assault her.
Nadia filed a criminal complaint against Miller, but authorities ceased investigations as the actor is no longer in the country, Variety confirmed.
Ezra Miller has faced a raft of allegations in recent weeks.
Miller was accused of “violence, intimidation, fear, paranoia” and “drugs” to manipulate 18-year-old Gibson Iron Eyes. Their parents obtained a restraining order from a judge on 7 June, but officials have reportedly been unable to locate Miller to serve them with it.
Gibson Iron Eyes’ parents have also given an interview about Miller, telling The Independent they need to save Gibson from their “psychopathic, narcissistic” grip.
Gibson’s father Chase Iron Eyes alleges that Gibson was groomed from the age of 12 by Miller and fed psychedelic drugs.
Miller has also been accused of harassing a second family, with the mother of a non-binary 12-year-old also granted a protective order.
More recently, Rolling Stone reported that The Flash star has been hosting a 25-year-old mother and her three young children in what was described as “an unsafe environment” scattered with “unattended guns” on their 39-hectare farm in Stamford, Vermont.
The mother told the outlet that Miller helped her flee an abusive relationship and said the guns are kept in an area of the house the kids are not allowed.
