Jennifer Coolidge says iconic film role helped her have sex with ‘200 people’
Jennifer Coolidge has played her fair share of memorable roles, but it seems one in particular has taken the horny biscuit.
In an interview with Variety, the Legally Blonde actor revealed that her time playing Stifler’s mom in the 1999 sexy comedy American Pie really upped her body count.
In the film – and subsequent sequels – Coolidge cameos as Jeanine Stifler and has a fling with her son’s classmate Paul Finch, while leaving all his friends speechless with her sexual allure.
The cameo immediately dubbed her as a MILF among a generation – a title Coolidge has accepted proudly.
“Ya know, I got a lot of play being a MILF,” she explained, “And I got a lot of sexual action from American Pie. There was so many benefits to doing that movie.
It was then that she revealed that “there would be, like, 200 people that I would never have slept with”, had it not been for that film.
From the highs of American Pie, charming 200 people was not the only benefit for Coolidge as her career unfolded in front of her.
Schitt’s Creek actor Eugene Levy noticed the sheer popularity of Coolidge after her sexually-charged performance and recommended her for Christopher Guest’s 2000 mockumentary Best in Show.
“She can really jump by leaps and bounds from take to take,” Levy told Variety, “there’s not that many people that have the ability to do that.”
Since her days scooping up iconic role after iconic role, Jennifer Coolidge has now made a comeback into the world of TV.
She stars as socialite Tanya McQuoid in the HBO drama The White Lotus, which has taken gay twitter by storm for not only involving Coolidge, but also for its iconic rimming scene between actors Lukas Gage and Eric Dane.
Coolidge has also finally received a well-deserved Emmy nomination for best supporting actress in a limited or anthology series.
