I’m A Celeb’s Jill Scott wins laughs while conquering biggest fear: ‘Funnier than either comedian’

I’m A Celebrity’s Jill Scott overcame her fear of heights once more as she sets her sights on becoming Queen of the Jungle.

The former Lioness was chosen to tackle a “Critty Critty Fang Fang” Bushtucker Trial, dressed up as “Truly Scrumptious”, in Wednesday’s episode (23 November).

From a large height she was dangled on a car and had to collect stars to secure meals for the camp. It was a particularly difficult challenge, given her fear of heights.
Though shaking, Scott remained her best self after grabbing her first star (and therefore meal) for fellow campmate Owen, all to the encouragement of Ant and Dec.

And at the end she was simply dropped into the air – much to her surprise.

Viewers praised Jill Scott’s determination, and of course the wild outfit she did it in.

“Yay go Jill, she absolutely smashed that trial, and with three minutes to spare wow, and she looked fabulous too,” one viewer wrote.

Some compared her look to other icons.

That wasn’t the only time Jill Scott impressed during Wednesday’s I’m A Celebrity…

She won laughs at dinner, when she joked “Tonight’s meal, we’re going to call it Ed Sheeran… because it’s ginger ‘hare'”.

“I think Jill is far funnier than either of the so called comedians in camp. She’s quick witted, self deprecating and unlike Seann doesn’t have to laugh at her own jokes,” one fan wrote.

Another added: “If Jill wasn’t a professional football player, I’m certain she’d have been a comedian. The woman is hysterically funny.”

As the last woman standing, with Charlene White, Scarlette Douglas and Sue Cleaver all eliminated, followed by Boy George and now Babatunde Aleshe – Jill Scott remains a favourite for the crown.

In previous episode she has opened up about her experiences trying to get into football, homophobia in men’s football and the cute cafe she owns with her partner Shelly Unitt.
