Drag Race All Stars 8 just dropped its first two episodes and gay Christmas might have come early
The first two episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8 have dropped and UK fans are gagged.
The ever-sickening Drag Race spinoff – which sees runners-up and fan faves return for another shot at the crown – was billed to premiere in the US on Friday (12 May).
With season 15 of Drag Race – otherwise known as Sasha Colby‘s victory run – UK fans had to wait until the following day to stream episodes – but not this time.
The first two episodes of the hotly anticipated All Stars 8, featuring Kandy Muse, Heidi N Closet, Jimbo and more have already dropped on WOW Presents Plus – the streaming service for all things Drag Race.
The conflama has been cleared – episodes will be released at 8am on Fridays on WOW Presents Plus, along with companion show Untucked.
Best of all, the first episode of All Stars 8 is free to watch in the UK – meaning anyone can watch it right this second.
The recently-released teaser trailer saw RuPaul confirm that as well as a “traditional winner” who’ll received a cash prize of $200,000 and a place in the Drag Race Hall of Fame, fans will also get to decide which of All Stars 8‘s eliminated queens will be crowned ‘Queen of the Fame Games’ and receive a not-too-shabby $50,000.
Who’s on the All Stars 8 cast?
The full rundown of rumoured All Stars 8 queens is here, but to keep it short and sweet:
- Alexis Michelle, season nine
- Darienne Lake, season six
- Heidi N Closet, season 12
- Jaymes Mansfield, season nine
- Jessica Wild, season two
- Jimbo, Canada’s Drag Race season one/ UK Vs. TW season one
- Kahanna Montrese, season 11
- Kandy Muse, season 13
- Lala Ri, season 13
- Monic Beverly Hillz, season five
- Mrs Kasha Davis, season seven
- Naysha Lopez, season eight
While there may be a few raised eyebrows at some of the more ‘left field’ choices on the list, such as very early outs on their original seasons, All Stars 6 also contained some rogue queens and has gone down in memory as one of the best All Stars seasons ever.
The first two episodes of All Stars 8 are available to watch now on Paramount Plus in the US and WOW Presents Plus around the world, with further instalments to be released weekly.
