Fans in the US are securing tickets

Fans have been tweeting their excitement at getting tickets for the Guts World Tour in the first 15 minutes of them going on sale!

If you’re currently stuck in a virtual queue just be patient – and don’t refresh the page.

Hopefully you’ll be joining these fans in celebrating.

Ticketmaster’s warning

The ticketing website has warned fans against buying tickets from scammers. As we reported earlier during the European ticket sale, bot accounts often tweet or reply to fans to say that they’re selling tickets.

But avoid buying tickets from these accounts or anyone who isn’t verified, even if you have missed out on tickets.

The dedication to get Olivia Rodrigo tickets

We respect it

European fans know the feeling…

Advice from Ticketmaster ahead of tickets going on sale

The ticketing website has dropped some advice so you can be prepared before tickets go on sale in North America:

  1. At the specified time, click the link you were sent. If you’re using a desktop — make sure you’ve typed in the link from your phone so you’re ready.
  2. You’ll enter the Smart Queue. To keep your place in line, stay on the page and don’t refresh.
  3. Once it’s your turn, enter the unique code exactly how it appears in the text in the space labeled Offer Code.
  4. Find your tickets. These are available on a first-come, first-serve basis as tickets aren’t guaranteed. Each event has a strict maximum ticket limit.
  5. Then checkout!

The registered fan sale kicks off at 3pm local time.

One hour until East Coast tickets go on sale

Just one hour to go until registered fans can use their code to access tickets for the East Coast shows.

You might’ve seen fans in Europe securing their tickets earlier today, so hopefully you’ll be celebrating too.

Good luck and we’ll keep you updated on info (and memes) here!

Ticket prices for the North American shows

A number of fans managed to secure ticket early in the American Express presale. This give us an idea of what to expect price-wise for the registered fan sale.

One fan tweeted:

While it was previously reported that standard (not VIP) tickets would be priced at $49.50-$199.50.

There’s a ticket limit

If you’re after tickets for the US and Canada shows today, then Ticketmaster says:

“You can purchase up to 4 tickets with your unique code and only for the show indicated in the text you received.”

US and Canada shows are on sale next

After releasing the European tickets, the registered fan sale will now take place for the North American leg.

Who are the support acts?

Rodrigo will be joined by a number artists across the tour.

It’s been confirmed that she’ll be supported by The Breeders, Chappell Roan, PinkPantheress and Remi Wolf throughout the run.

You can check out below exactly which shows each support act will be appearing at on the Guts World Tour.

But we hate to see this…

The aim of the registered fan sale is to put the tickets into hands of real fans, so it’s disappointing when they end up on the likes of eBay and Viagogo at hiked prices!

Fans are still getting tickets for the Europe shows

Don’t give up just yet. Fans are still tweeting that they’re securing tickets for the Guts World Tour

Anyone else struggling?

What to do if you’ve been waitlisted

If you unfortunately missed out on getting a code to access tickets today, it isn’t over yet.

Ticketmaster says: “If tickets remain, additional fans may be randomly selected from the waitlist for future ticketing opportunities.”

You’ll be emailed to be informed that you’ve moved off the waitlist, so keep checking your inbox.

A number of fans have reported already being moved off the waitlist ahead of today’s general sale.

Fans are still securing tickets

Tickets for the UK, Ireland and Portugal went on sale 20 minutes ago and plenty of fans have been successful in getting their tickets.

So don’t panic if you’re stuck in the virtual queue, just keep trying as the site will be busy due to the amount of people logged on.

Once people get their tickets and leave the page it should make it easier.

We love to see it

Who else is the designated with the stress of being the ‘ticket buying friend’? Well, it seems like this fan had an easy, breezy experience getting Guts World Tour tickets.

Beware of scammers!

When tickets go on sale for major events, a lot of bot accounts often tweet or reply to fans to say that they’re selling tickets.

But avoid buying tickets from these accounts or anyone who isn’t verified, even if you have missed out on tickets.

You will be able to buy resale tickets from Ticketmaster’s official fan-to-fan resale program on their website after tickets are released.

Other verified resale websites include Twickets, which only allows fans to sell tickets at face value or less and has been endorsed by the likes of Ed Sheeran on previous tours.

Still no updates from Ticketmaster on Twitter about ticket availability for the European dates and we’re feeling…

Fans react to ticket prices

There’s been some backlash to the ticket prices, with VIP and platinum tickets priced in the hundreds.

This has led to some fans feeling like getting tickets is becoming more and more inaccessible.

European dates have been on sale for 15 minutes

Tickets for Olivia Rodrigo’s European tour dates dropped at 3pm local time in Europe, and fans have been snapping them up.

Ticketmaster in the likes of France, Spain, Germany and more are yet to give updates on social media.

But fans are still securing theirs, so keep trying and don’t leave the queue:

While other fans have secured tickets already…

Some lucky fans snapped up tickets in the first few minutes of them going on sale:

Some fans have been placed in big queues

Virtual queues have already formed as fans attempt to get tickets.

The positions in the queue are randomly allocated, but this person has some positive math about it:

How much are tickets?

Ahead of tickets going on sale today you might be wondering how much they’ll cost and what ticket type you might be after. There’s standard and VIP tickets, with prices varying per venue.

But this should give you a general idea of prices.

They’re priced at £64.95-£120.95 for standard tickets in the UK:

And some of the European dates:

One hour until European dates go on sale

Tickets for shows in Antwerp, Amsterdam, Oslo, Copenhagen, Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich, Bologna, Zurich, Cologne, Paris, Barcelona and Madrid go on sale in one hour.

We’ll keep our live blog updated with info from each country’s Ticketmaster, so fans know how good the availability is for each city.

Before tickets are released at 3pm local time, you’ll want to get a few things in order:

  • Get your ticket link(s) and access code from your Ticketmaster ready
  • Write your unique access code down as well as copy & pasting it
  • Have your payment details out and ready to enter
  • Make sure you’re logged into your Ticketmaster account ahead of the on-sale, so you can go straight to selecting your tickets and then the payment
  • Close all other tabs on your device
  • Try not to use too many devices as this will cause a bigger queue on Ticketmaster

And of course, good luck!

Fans are getting Deja Vu from Taylor Swift tickets…

The verified fan sale/presale code/waitlist debacle is only reminding fans All Too Well of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tours which used a similar on-sale system.

The waitlist meant fans missed out on the chance to buy tickets for Swift’s tour, which is once again happening again with another of their favourite artists.

And some fans are wishing ticket release could go back to the classic rush where everyone had a chance to get their hands on some when they were released in a general sale.

Popular fan pages missed out on codes

Even those who run the account Olivia Rodrigo HQ on Twitter got waitlisted.

Their account – which gives fans updates on the singer has more than 63,000 followers – so if they couldn’t get a code then who did?!

And it’s double heartbreak because they confirmed they got waitlisted for her debut Sour Tour!

Fans react to being waitlisted

There’s also been some very funny reactions from fans who were placed on the waitlist for tickets. If you’re one of them just know you’re not alone and we can all laugh (and cry) via memes about it together…

Fans react to Ticketmaster

There’s some hilarious responses from fans who were lucky enough to get access to tickets – but still hadn’t received their code from Ticketmaster:

Ticketmaster gives update

The latest update from Ticketmaster said: “Fan response to Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts World Tour has been massive, and despite adding 20 more dates to better meet demand, there are still far more registered fans than tickets available.”

Because of this they’ve said that most fans “will be placed on a waitlist”. This has led to disappointment among a number of fans who haven’t received a code to access tickets.

Olivia Rodrigo tickets go on sale today

Today’s the day that fans of the singer can get their hands on tickets for the Guts World Tour.
