Xbox

Xbox is an umbrella term for a series of consoles manufactured by Microsoft. The first one was released in November 2001, marking the software giant’s first venture into the world of home gaming consoles. The console had a record-breaking launch, selling 1.5 million units before the end of 2001. One of the most popular launch titles on the system was Halo: Combat Evolved. The original Xbox was succeeded by the 360 in 2005, then the Xbox One in 2013 and most recently the Series X and Series S consoles released in 2020. Other popular launch games for the original console included Project Gotham Racing and Dead or Alive 3.
